Is Verizon Prepaid Talk & Text Worth It for 1 Line?

Verizon Prepaid's No Data plan for 1 line costs $35 per month.

It rides on the Verizon network for coverage.

It includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and No Data of high-speed data per month. The data is shut off after you reach your high-speed allotment. Unfortunately, you do not get any hotspot data with this plan.

The Verizon Prepaid Talk & Text plan has deprioritized data. Having deprioritized data means you may temporarily experience slower speeds during times when the cellular network is busy. You'll resume getting the fastest speeds available when the network is no longer busy.

Taxes and fees are extra on this plan. I estimate they will add another $-4.25 to the price. Your total montly bill will be about $30.75 per month.

Overall, I do not recommend the Verizon Prepaid Talk & Text plan. It is too expensive for the features and data you get.
